After the Electrical Engineering and 3 years of practical experience in construction and manufacturing industry The owner Shri S D Bhat started his own Panel building activity in 1998 in the name of “Electro Controls”, a 700 Sq ft rented industrial premises in Hubballi with 4 unskilled work team zeal to perform with a limited resource.

By completing several projects and successful installation of the various types of controls panels in and around all the parts of Karnataka and adjacent states of India

In 2004 expanded its working environment to 5000sqr ft with more than 25 skilled and semi-skilled work team along with potential marketing and Professional admin team.

Same Time, firm growth increased rapidly and tremendously in the market with bundle of satisfied customers due to the better quality, timely delivery and on-time service backup.

Having 20+ years of immense experience in panel building and with reputed and repeated valuable customers and many project orders in hand, we inevitably invested in new setup for better work environment and work force to manufacture quality products in committed schedule. So, in 2021 we allotted a land of 1.14Acre in KIADB Gamanagatti industrial area Hubballi and completed construction activity in the span of a year with professionally managed modern facilities and machineries in the name of “SMP Automation”. In that acre of land, we build 36,000 Sq feet of Working space (Shop Floor), 12,000 Sq feet of admin and engineering departments and other facilities along with enthusiastic work team of more than 65.

With all of these beautiful facilities, we boosted ourselves to various new products like HT RMU / Compact Substation / Stainless steel - Aluminum fabricated panels despite of Existing Customized LV and MV Panels etc. which are added our market reputation and requirements.

Now “SMP Automation” is an ISO 9001-2015 and IEC 61439 type test certified, we possess latest technology for assembly and testing. as our energized R&D team says, you can rely on us because, we keep up with the latest trends in low voltage and medium voltage technology, all products are manufactured as per the latest IS/IEC standards and completely type tested in NABL accredited labs like CPRI. We execute turnkey projects related to Electrical, and manufacture / supply all kind of customized Low voltage and medium voltage switchgear Panels / Automation and retrofitting’s under one roof.
